![]() ![]() Last night I tried again (without the debug option) and this morning it was hanging on Windows, and the phone had disconnected. Two days ago I ran it with the debug option and it took almost 12 hours to run, but not everything was transferred to the phone. ![]() My sync carries on for ages, then crashes to the point of me having to use Windows Task Explorer to close it. I used KIES a few times, then it started hanging, so I gave up on it. This made me very worried when I read above that the SGS calendar goes through the entire data base whenever an entry is changed. My contacts list is just short of 1,000 entries, and my (recently trimmed down) calendar has almost 4,500 entries. I'm using Outlook 2010 and come from an enterprise background, so for me it's a true business tool. Enter into the Calendar -> Select the List view -> Select Delete from the menu -> Select All events at the top -> Press Delete.Īt MPE I removed the current user in order to clear its entries and started a new one. Go to Setting -> Application -> Manage applications -> Select the All tab -> Calendar Storage -> Press Clear Data.ģ. Go to Setting -> Application -> Manage applications -> Select the All tab -> Calendar -> Press Clear Data.Ģ. The problem is solved the summary of the actions is below.īasically the problem was to delete all calendar entries in the Android. Then sync, if it works now then ou had luck, if not please send me the file %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\AndroidDebug.txt Please connect your phone via USB and run MPE in debugmode (Start-Run-myphoneexplorer debug-OK). This works good for a time but on a specific point the connections is cut off and the sync fails. The inbuild calendar-apps does walk throught the whole database as soon as one item gets added/deleted. There is a known problem on the Galaxy S with the calendar. The Calendar synchronization takes long hours (do anyone understand why?), and I find the MyPhoneExplorer passing to the phone old information beyond the selected definition of “past 30 days + all future” The second trouble is that each iteration takes very long time. One trouble is that I’ve got many appointment duplications now in my outlook I’ll try to find a utility to get rid of them before. I’ll try to start everything from scratch. Unfortunately, passing the Calendar through email is not an option for me, although it seems as the most supported route. ![]() The “list view” is very efficient to delete all data. If you sync your Calendars with Google, maybe this is an option for you! Not sure if there is an option in Outlook 2010. On the other Hand, I myself am using "Lightning" and "Provider for Google Calendar" in combination with Thunderbird to edit my Google Calendars. You can switch the Calendar View to "list" and in this way, you can delete them pretty fast (if this is what you want)! If you want to get all calendar entries from your phone again (disregarding changes made on the pc) you might give the "download entire" option a try! Is there a good way, which I can start fresh clean with all history forgotten, and also make sure I’m making it the right way? Tried to create a new massage on the Android (as proposed in a similar post) – no change. I tried to uninstall and re-install both client and desktop applications. The desktop application tries to delete them from the Android (it take hours) and transfer nothing to the phone, and I end up with the same situation. I tried synchronizing several times, made some setup mistakes of both client and desktop in the way, and end up now in a state that the desktop application claims that I have appointments on my Android although I manually deleted them month by month (is there a delete all option?). I’m using MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.0 on desktop and MyPhoneExplorer Client 1.0.6 on Samsung Galaxy S with Android.
